About Author

Dr. Anand J. Reddy is associate professor in the Department of Anatomy, MIMSR Medical College, Latur (Maharashtra). He obtained his MBBS degree from MIMER Medical College, Talegaon Dabhade (Pune) and has completed his postgraduation (MD Anatomy) from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune (Maharashtra). He has been teaching the subject to MBBS, BDS, BPTh and allied health sciences courses for the past 14 years. During this period, he has been making innovative changes in the field of teaching. He has formed a ‘bone bank’ in the Department of Anatomy for use of undergraduates and post-graduate students. Very few departments of Anatomy of various medical colleges in Maharashtra are well equipped with such bone banks. He has also equipped the histology section of the anatomy department with slides of human tissue instead of mammalian.

Apart from the teaching profession, he practices psychiatry and is a social activist too. He has an experience of conducting personality development programs for youth for more than 10 years.
